Valentines Day wouldn’t be so without the chocolate! However having strawberries is a much healthier alternative!
Here is the recipe
YOU WILL NEED
block of bittersweet chocolate, chopped
12 fresh strawberries with leaves
METHOD
Cook chocolate until melted using a double boiler.
Stir occasionally until chocolate is smooth.
Dip each berry in chocolate.
Place on a wire rack
Chill until chocolate is hard

Not many of us want to do heaps of complicated cooking during the holiday season.
Here is one of my favourite dishes to make - Easy Homemade Zucchini Slice.
Zucchini slice is a wonderfully versatile and delicious meal. Add a salad, make it for a picnic, brunch,parties & a simple supper. Every time I make this dish it goes in a flash. Hope you enjoy making it
INGREDIENTS
550g zucchini - finely grated and excess water squeezed out
1 medium onion, finely chopped
3 large rashers
1 cup grated tasty cheese
3/4 cup self-raising flour
Salt & pepper
4 large eggs
1/3 cup oil
Line an 18cm x 28cm baking dish or slice tin with baking paper.
METHOD
Fry bacon and onion
Combine grated zucchini, cooled onion and bacon mixture, cheese, flour, salt and pepper in a large bowl.
Mix egg and oil and then combine with other ingredients
Bake @ 180C (356F) for 45 minutes

Rice can sometimes be quite tricky, however I have a great recipe for great rice thanks to my mother in law.
Microwave Rice
1/4 cup white rice per person
1/2 cup of water for every person
chicken stock cube & a little bit of butter
Place in a microwave safe dish with the lid on for 5 minutes on high.
Stir and then on a medium setting for 15 - 20 minutes.
Check half way and stir.
