Energizing Fiber Smoothie

This smoothie is full of good flavor. It’s hearty and healthy and will sustain you for several hours. The agave shouldn’t raise blood sugar levels and is great because it sweetens the smoothie.

  • 1 cup 2% or skim milk
  • 1 tablespoon flax seeds
  • 1 handful almonds
  • ½ teaspoon nutritional yeast
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon psyllium powder
  • 1 teaspoon barley greens or alfalfa powder
  • 1 tablespoon agave nectar
