Apple-Spirulina-Bee Shake Up

This smoothie is more for those who really don’t want to eat anything for breakfast in the morning. Spirulina is high in chlorophyll which is a good detoxifier. Bee pollen is full of amino acids and pantothenic acid, which helps the body deal with stress. The apple fiber (not pectin) is a good way to bring down the glycemic index of the apple juice and provide more bulk.

  • 1 cup apple juice
  • ¼ teaspoon spirulina
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon bee pollen granules
  • 1 tablespoon agave nectar
  • 1 tablespoon apple fiber

Mix all ingredients. Sip on your way to work!
