tips-to-save-you-time

  • Make the lasange on the weekend {make 2 for another busy week}
  • This Quick Lasagne does not have a complicated white sauce. It is low fat and so easy! Your family will not even know the difference! { Only you will :) }
  • Double up on the meat sauce ready for Nachos on Wednesday.
  • Grate 2 carrots and 1 zucchini and freeze in a zip lock bag. Do this a few times and you can not only add this combination of extra veggies to the Chicken Tetrazzini  but you can add it to soups, lasagnas and other sauces.
  • Add extra carrots and zucchini in the meat sauce for Wednesday’s weeknight dinner!
  • Again double up on the meat sauce and freeze for a busy weeknight dinner.
  • Instead of cooking your own whole chicken buy a Roast Chicken and make roast chicken rolls for lunches the next day.
  • You can even shred a BBQ chicken and freeze. This chicken can be used and quickly stirred into your Chicken Tetrazzini for another quick weeknight dinner!

    tips-to-save-you-money

  • Buy BBQ chickens on special – shred and freeze in zip lock bags.
  • Double up on the meat sauce. Buy less meat and bulk this up with shredded carrots and zucchini.
  • Cut wrap and cut into triangles and bake for Nachos. This is much healthier and cheaper than buying bags of Nacho chips.
  • Buy a bag of potatoes and peel the. Cut potatoes into wedges and freeze. This will save you some money in the long run.
