
Last week we have all had colds so I am determined to fight back this week with our vitamin C packed diet!!! All dinners this week can be doubled and placed in the freezer. I like to factor in a freezer dinner when I know time is short or we are having people over. All of the following dinners are easily stretched, great for crowds and friendly on your budget!
We will also be enjoying vitamin C packed fruits and vegetables as well as cold fighting drinks like freshly squeezed orange juice and lemon, honey and garlic drinks! If you have any more tips on fighting colds and flu with your diet please let me know ![]()
MONDAY : Indonesian Rice
TUESDAY : Baked Pumpkin Soup & Wedges
WEDNESDAY : Beef Tacos or Beef Nachos
THURSDAY : Chicken & Herb Meatballs
FRIDAY : Pesto & Olive Burgers

- Porridge served cinnamon & sultanas
- Extra vitamin c boost – freshly squeezed orange juice

- Pumpkin Soup { toasted turkish bread }
- Chicken Wraps { grated carrot, beetroot, mash avocado, lettuce }

- Vitamin C Fruit Bowl {orange, melon, kiwi fruit }
- Lemon, honey and garlic drink
- Vitamin C Veggie Platter { red peppers, steamed broccoli }
- Full cream milk

- Squeeze extra orange juice and freeze in 4 cup portions
- Steam 2 broccoli and keep covered in the fridge
- Make extra rice and freeze in contaiers
