Quick Kid Friendly Dinner – Salmon Bake

by Ruthie

IN A PREPARED BAKING DISH
MIX INGREDIENTS

1 cup salmon, drained
1 cup frozen peas and corn
1 1/2 cups can cream of celery soup
3 cups dry pasta, cooked and drained

TOP WITH
1/2 cup grated tasty cheese

180 C degrees / 356 F for 30 – 45 minutes or until cheese is golden brown

I did some freezer meals for this week as I will be going away. This meal was super easy to prepare. You could use tuna and corn and it would still be as easy and delicious.

Do you use fresh, frozen or canned salmon?

I use canned salmon,
however smoked salmon with dill would be lovely!

How long does it cook? At what degrees?

Love this recipe, how many does it serve!

Hi Michelle,

I feed 4 and have enough for leftovers. You can also use tuna instead of salmon if you prefer.

Hope you enjoy it!

This is a great recipe – and so versatile.
We used to make a variation of this when we were teenagers as it is so easy to make for dinner. We called it fisherman’s pie and used tuna and frozen mixed vege’s. If you omit the pasta you can top with mashed potato and make a casserole type meal – just pop it in the oven with some grated cheese to brown… yummo!! :-)
