Over the weekend I was going through a whole lot of old photos and came across some old photos of my childhood birthday parties and the wonderful cakes we had. I am a twin and spent my childhood growing up in Africa. The effort my mother went to was quite terrific. This sentimental journey has spurred me on to be a little more creative than I have in the past! I am not a great baker and my last cakes have been very safe, tasty, visually appealing and extremely easy! If my idea helps you to experience less stress at your next kid’s birthday party by all means go for it!!!
